Punkest of the three. It seems that each of their songs that were recorded here have different lives of their own. All three tracks show great diversity in song writing and creativity. This is a fast one!
Lord Green. This is an instrumental tune and has a ton of that Sabbath feel to it. Lots of cool stuff happening on the track later in the song. And of course, recorded at The House!
Mike and me. I like how this song came out. Some finishing touches should seal the deal. How do you feel?
Lord Green, Higher Than God.

Nasty. Lord Green is nasty. Everything about them is nasty; their choice in vodka is nasty, planning on riding bikes to a kegger is nasty, the entire band based on weed is nasty. But most importanly, their music is nasty. The one thing I can compare the music to - and I really dislike doing this - is Black Sabbath; but this Sabbath is juiced on steroids, speed, cocaine, and a little bit of porno.
It was a treat recording with Lord Green. The environment was nice and relaxing, with no major problems to report. The only physical damage done was some spackle coming off the bathroom ceiling oh, and I busted the handle on the toilet. They didn’t complain about the microphone taped to the cymbal stand, or my loud coffee grinder. All in all it was a four star day, and everybody enjoyed a nice cup of black coffee. Nick Mick even hung out and participated on one of the tracks.
Find Lord Green on Myspace and look for their cassette (yeah cassette) split coming out soon.
To hear a song just look above and press “play”.
Rock!
The House.
A little variety. I like this song quite a bit, and it’s extremely fun to play. Again, waiting for the bass track. If you listen closely you can hear some good tid-bits of fun.
Here is a little taste of Mike’s visit. No bass guitar on the track; when it’s in there the song will sound nice and full. Might be a bit compressed, you can really here it “pump” in the beginning.
This is by far the fastest, dirtiest song, but it’s just so much fun to play.
Enjoy
Here is a tune with no vox and a shit-load of compression and no true mixing of the tracks. I threw this together in 20 or so minutes. The kick drum is blasting but I need a reference to the new software I’m using and what it outputs after a mixdown. Thank you.

Load out.
The first recording at The House was a successful one. Mike Neimic of Racine, Wisconsin dropped in and hammered out 6 songs with me in 12 hours of solid recording time. Mike got to The House Friday night, and immediately we clicked; the two and a half year layoff didn’t exist. We stayed up and chatted about old times while going over our “priority list”. Around 5 o’clock (Saturday) we took the first take, and around 2 a.m we took the last vocal take. We woke up at 10 on Sunday and immediately sat down to record. Coffee in hand, we ripped out 3 more songs in under 2 hours. I was really surprised that the tunes actually sound good and tight; score another one for the click-track. Noon came and Mike had to pack and go; we didn’t get bass guitar laid down and three of the songs are still missing vocal parts (next month). All in all, the recording went great; the hardware worked flawlessly and it was an amazing treat to be able to work with such a talented, humble musician such as Mike. If interested, please check out his solo stuff. It’s very impressive: http://www.myspace.com/itsthefredricksons
